Senior DevOps Engineer - AWS Infrastructure (10-15 yrs)

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS infrastructure and extensive experience in deploying and managing cloud-native applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, EKS clusters, DynamoDB, and CI/CD pipelines, coupled with a proven track record of handling complex, scalable systems.

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage robust AWS infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

- Build and maintain Kubernetes and Amazon EKS clusters to support containerized applications.

- Optimize and manage DynamoDB for serverless database solutions, focusing on performance and cost efficiency.

- Configure and manage Kong API Gateway (or similar) to secure and streamline communication between microservices.

- Develop and maintain seamless CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth application deployment.

- Implement containerization best practices using Docker and ensure efficient orchestration within Kubernetes.

- Secure sensitive data by leveraging AWS Secrets Manager and following cloud security best practices.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of

applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.

- Stay current with the latest DevOps tools and cloud technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, including EC2 S3 IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, RDS,

and related services.

- Deep expertise in managing Kubernetes and EKS clusters in production environments.

- Proficiency in DynamoDB, including data modeling, scaling, and optimization.

- Solid experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.

- Strong understanding of Docker for containerization and deployment.

- Familiarity with AWS Secrets Manager and cloud security principles.

- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages.

- Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot large-scale, distributed systems.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
