Technical Writer (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

Documentation Creation :

- Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, and online help content.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with engineers, developers, product managers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure technical accuracy.

Content Simplification :

- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content for various audiences, including non-technical users.

Standards and Style :

- Ensure all documentation adheres to established style guides, branding guidelines, and industry standards.

User Feedback :

- Incorporate user feedback to improve documentation quality and usability.

Visual Content :

- Create diagrams, flowcharts, and other visuals to enhance technical documentation.

Process Improvement :

- Identify and implement best practices for creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Requirements :

- Familiarity with version control systems(Git).

- Knowledge of programming languages (e. g., Java, PHP, Typescript HTML/CSS) is a plus.

- Experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer-facing documentation is preferred.

Writing Skills :

- Exceptional ability to write clearly and concisely for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Research Skills :

- Ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources, including interviews with SMEs.

Attention to Detail :

- Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure documentation accuracy.

- Domain knowledge in Content and Commerce would have an added advantage.
