Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain the SAP test strategy and testing plan. Define testing scope, objectives, and resource requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP FICO, SAP MM, etc.) and integration points.
- Lead the execution of functional, integration, user acceptance, regression, performance, and security tests. Ensure testing is performed according to the project timeline, and track progress against the overall test schedule.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of test environments, ensuring they are aligned with the production system.
- Work with the development and functional teams to identify, track, and resolve issues and defects discovered during testing. Ensure defects are properly logged, prioritized, and addressed in a timely manner.
- Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, risks, and issues to project stakeholders and senior management. Document test cases, test scripts, test results, and ensure test deliverables meet project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure testing aligns with business requirements and project objectives.
- Identify potential risks related to testing and work to mitigate them. Ensure high-quality testing practices are followed and that the system meets the required quality standards before going live.
- Coordinate and manage the User Acceptance Testing process, ensuring business users are fully prepared and trained. Ensure UAT results are properly documented, and any critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP testing, experience in a Test Manager role. Proven experience leading SAP testing efforts in large-scale implementations and upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, etc.), integration points, and SAP testing methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP testing types.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
