Vice President - Strategic Finance - CA (16-24 yrs)

Role Overview:

- The Head of Finance & Legal will provide strategic financial leadership to the company and will be accountable to the founders and the board.

- This position entails comprehensive responsibility across various facets of financial management including strategic financial leadership, FP&A, operational financial management, capital management, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.

- The role demands a seasoned leader with a robust understanding of financial management within a dynamic and fast-paced global business environment to support business objectives and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's business goals.

- Provide insights and recommendations to the founders and the board on financial performance and strategic planning.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Oversee the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term financial plans.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and proposing corrective actions.

Operational Financial Management:

- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and cash flow management.

- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial records.

Capital Management:

- Optimize the company's capital structure and manage liquidity to support operational and strategic initiatives.

- Oversee treasury functions, including cash management, investments, and debt management.

Fundraising:

- Lead fundraising activities, including equity and debt financing, to support business growth.

- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Mergers and Acquisitions:

- Identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities.

- Lead due diligence, valuation, negotiation, and integration processes for acquisitions.

Legal & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with corporate financial laws, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee legal matters, including contracts, corporate governance, and intellectual property.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 15 years of work experience.

- Ideally, about 18-20 years of total experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior Business Finance roles, preferably as a Head of Finance or in a similar capacity.

- Prior experience in ITES industries with global clients and offices.

- Experience operating under SEZ is an added advantage.

- Deep knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.

- Excellent knowledge of India taxation regime.

- Good knowledge of Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.

- Strong leadership and managerial skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive business growth.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
