Welding Engineer

What Were Looking For

Education:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering (DME).
• Part-time BE candidates may also apply. (Full-time BE/BTech graduates are not preferred.)

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on shop floor experience in welding or fabrication.
• Explicit experience in welding or fabrication shops is mandatory.

Role Suitability:

• Hands-on professionals who are comfortable working on the shop floor.
• Candidates currently in managerial roles will not be considered.

Geography:

• Candidates with a permanent address within 50 km of Ranipet, Vellore, or Gudiyatam are strongly preferred.

Additional Desirable Attributes:

• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 3834 or AWS D1.1.
• Experience with quality tools like Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
• Certifications such as CSWIP or ASNT Level II are a plus.
