NDT Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections on castings & Hot rolled sheet using techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in casting and welding , Magnetic particle testing (MPT),Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), and Visual Inspection (VT)
• Radiographic Inspection (RT) film examination and troubleshooting knowledge in casting parts.
• Strong Knowledge in ASTM standard and codes.
• Prepare detailed NDT inspection reports in MS Office, maintain accurate records for quality assurance and traceability.
• Work closely with production, store, and service teams of day-to-day inspections and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate non-conformance reports on-time to Supplier Quality Assurance and Purchase department and corrective action follow-ups.
• Preparation NDT inspection service bills and closure.
• Recommend improvements to enhance casting quality, reduce defects, and increase overall efficiency in the production process.
• Testing equipment calibration in on time and follow-ups
• Qualification/Experience: D.M.E (or) B.E with NDT Level-2 Certification / 5 to 7 Years.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during inspections and testing.
• SAP/ERP Basic knowledge
• Casting parts inspection knowledge.

Preferred candidate profile

1.Minimum 5 years, of experience in NDT-ASNT Level-2

2.Ability to effectively influence the stakeholder

3.Proficiency & comfort with numbers.

4.Effective communication verbal, written and Presentation & Analytical skills
