Job Description
- Application Development : Design, build, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java .
- Feature Implementation : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- API Integration : Work closely with back-end developers to integrate RESTful APIs and other services.
- Optimization : Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
- Testing : Write and execute unit tests and work with QA teams to address edge cases and usability issues.
- Code Reviews : Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Innovation : Stay updated with the latest Android trends, technologies, and tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Deployment : Oversee the app submission and update process on the Google Play Store.
- Technical Expertise :
- Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) and/or Java for Android development.
- Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack libraries (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel, Room), and Material Design principles.
- Strong understanding of Android UI/UX design patterns and best practices.
- Knowledge of Android components like Activities, Fragments, Services, and Broadcast Receivers.
- Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, such as Retrofit, Glide, or Dagger/Hilt.
- Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of the Google Play Store policies and app release process.
- Additional Skills :
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions is a plus.
- Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a bonus.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Android app development.
- Demonstrated experience with published apps on the Google Play Store.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
