Job Description

Monitor website uptime and ensure that it is accessible to users.

Manage web hosting, DNS, and server configurations to ensure optimal performance and security.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise on the website, including server downtime, network connectivity issues, and malware infections.

Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, and take necessary actions to prevent potential attacks.

Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement website enhancements and improvements, such as site speed optimizations and website backups.

Develop and maintain documentation of website administration processes and procedures.

Continuously monitor website health and suggest improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in website administration, with a focus on hosting, DNS, server troubleshooting, and malware handling.

Strong technical skills in HTML, MySQL, and PHP.

Experience with website hosting providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud, GoDaddy, Bluehost, or Digital Ocean.

Experience with DNS management, domain registration, and SSL certificate management.

Knowledge of website security best practices and familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills.
