Senior Android Developer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer who is passionate about building world-class Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and the latest Android technologies. You will be part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment, working on exciting projects that serve millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

l Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.

l Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

l Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.

l Optimize applications for performance and scalability.

l Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in Android development.

l Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Android best practices.

l Lead and mentor junior developers, contributing to team growth.

l Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

l 5+ years of experience in Android development.

l Proficient in Kotlin with hands-on experience in Jetpack Compose.

l Solid understanding of Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.).

l Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and UI/UX design principles.

l Familiarity with Material Design guidelines and creating responsive layouts.

l Proficiency in using Android development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle.

l Experience in unit testing and familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

l Understanding of CI/CD processes and version control tools like Git.

l Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

l Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

l Experience with Coroutines and Flows for asynchronous programming.

l Knowledge of Android Jetpack libraries such as Navigation, Paging, or WorkManager.

l Experience with Firebase or other cloud services.

l Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) or experience building cross-platform applications.
