NPI Inspector

Role & responsibilities

• Interpretation of production drawing
• Knowledge on handling the measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.,
• Conduct thorough inspection of first-off or prototype components, utilizing engineering drawings, and inspection plans.
• Validate dimensions, features, and specifications using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Shop floor inspection Verification & follow up setup approval.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable aerospace standards and internal quality requirements.
• Document and maintain accurate records of inspections, including inspection reports, observations, and any non-conformances.
• Generate First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and support production part approval processes (PPAP) as required.
• Support root cause analysis for defects and collaborate on corrective action implementation to ensure continuous improvement.
• Should have the basic knowledge on CMM and VMS.
