Production Head (3W)

• Candidates with min. 15 years experience in leading the planning, scheduling & execution of manufacturing operations
• Responsible for cost-effective planning & processing and completion within timelines; within budget and ensuring highest quality and safety

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning and Scheduling:

• Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and organizational goals.
• Create and manage production schedules, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to meet targets.

Resource Management:

• Oversee the allocation of resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and reduce production costs.

Quality Control:

• Collaborate with the Quality Manager to implement and maintain quality control processes.
• Ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Implement corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.

Safety and Compliance:

• Establish and enforce safety protocols and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
• Implement measures to minimize workplace hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and motivate production teams to achieve production targets and goals.
• Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production processes.
• Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve quality, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Budget Management:

• Work with the finance department to develop and manage the production budget.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
