About Team:

Sam s club is a membership-based retail warehouse club owned and operated by Walmart. With more than 600 physical clubs across different geographic region in US, Sam s Club chain serves more than 50 million US members and is rated among the top retailers in US.

We develop Software to manage the supply chain operations of Walmart s huge capacity Distribution Centres which Receives, Stores and Ships items to Stores, Clubs and Customers through eCommerce orders.

We automate the operations by integrating WMS systems with Automation Robots in the form of Conveyers, Auto Pallet/packing machines, and Machines which moves items place to place.

You will work on multiple domains like multichannel supply chain to complex retail systems in the point of sale, finance, logistics and transportation domains .Youll create game-changing solutions / applications using cutting-edge technology and streamline process through innovation. Were constantly reinventing how we save people s money in our retail stores, online and through their mobile devices, and we do it in an unexpected ways. Whether youre analyzing data, simplifying the supply chain or creating solutions to make this planet more sustainable, what youll be really doing is redefining the customer experience and making lives better.

You get to work on a wide spectrum of technologies and heterogeneous platforms such as Java and react JS Deployed in Kubernetes components presented in Cloud networks, Middleware tools, low latency messaging systems, machine learning and open-source frameworks

As a member of the team you will be expected to code, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide.

• Collaborate with senior members of the team to gather requirements, participate in design discussion, code, test and deploy the products to production
• Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
• Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or related discipline with 3 to 6 years of core software product development experience.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, databases, operating systems, etc.
• Hands on in developing web applications using REST, Messaging and SOA
• 1 or more years of experience with Java (Spring MVC, Hibernate) in building multi-threaded high performance scalable applications
• Experience with Cloud Computing platforms: Microsoft Azure, Google cloud or similar is a plus
• A self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession to quality

Competencies

Java with multithreading concepts .

Implemented Clean Code principles, Junits

Understands performance and Automation aspects of coding to develop high performing services

using Spring , Springboot , Microservices

Usage of NOSQL and RDBMS DB , Docker , Kubernetes, CI/CD Experience

Working on JDK8 and above, having concept on Distributed computing, parallel processing.

Experience in messaging system like MQ or Kafka or Azure eventhub,

Writing application interface codes using JavaScript .

Developing and implementing front-end architecture to support user interface concepts.

Developing and implementing backend API interaction to support end to end flow.

Improving front-end and backend performance.

Implementing CI/CD pipeline and best coding practices.

Desirable Skills

Experience in migration of monolith to Microservices.

Experience working with Reactive Java.

Experience working with front end stack like React JS/Node Js .
