Designation: Brand Manager
Reporting to: Category Head
Location: Ahmedabad
Role Purpose:
The role serves the purpose of managing & improving the performance of the assigned brand by
a. Planning & driving execution of annual & interim projects for the brand
b. Aiding on conceptualization & set up of a product pipeline for future (NPD)
Key Deliverables:
- For the assigned brand
- Net Revenue
- Value Market Share
- Gross Contribution Target
- NPD Pipeline / Stage Gate Milestones
- Brand Health Indicators
- Manage and maintain budgeting to have rational yet meaningful & cost effective business model
Key Activities:
- Ideate & contribute in drawing the roadmap for the Brand in the short term (1-2 Years)
- Discover new / changing insights by working with the CMI Team & Agency to understand evolving consumer needs
- Ideate & contribute to planning of ongoing projects, initiatives (NPD, Launch, Re-positioning etc.)
- Co-ordinate with Market research agencies, Ad agencies and internal functions on execution of project plan
- Drive on ground execution with Sales function & track success parameters
- Track Brand Health regularly & highlight information of relevance to upcoming / future work on the brand
- Aid Category Head in the preparation of the Annual budget
- Lead & contribute to streamlining & improving internal processes, routines basis industry Best Practices, developments in the field of Consumer Marketing
Key Interaction:
- Internal - Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics & Finance
- On alignment of monthly / quarterly / annual plans for the brand
- Time to time driving of back end actions basis business plan
- Coordination for planned production / changes / additional business ask & its timely delivery
- Approvals & payments to direct vendors
- External - Creative / Ad agencies, Media Agency
- Relationship Management
- Coordination / Influence / Negotiation

Role Requirements:
Educational Qualifications: PG Degree in General / Marketing Management from Tier 1 B School
Experience (Type & Nature): 5-7 years FMCG (With at least 2 years in Core Consumer Marketing / Category Specifications
Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Brand, Product Strategy
- Strong understanding of Brand Operations
- Basic understanding of Media & CMI operations
- Commercial Understanding
