QA Engineer

Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Perform comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Gitlab, Jira, or similar.
• Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved according to specifications.

Automation Testing

• Collaborate with the automation team to design and execute automated test scripts for regression and performance testing.
• Assist in maintaining and updating the automation framework.
• Use tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar to create automated test cases.

Domain Expertise

• Leverage knowledge of the LMS domain to design test scenarios specific to e-learning platforms, including content management, user roles, and reporting.
• Understand SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards (good to have).

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify edge cases and potential issues.
• Ensure software meets quality standards and conforms to business requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving software quality processes.
