Safety Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Safety Supervisor ensures workplace safety compliance, conducts inspections, and promotes a culture of safety within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Monitoring:
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Training & Awareness:
• Organize safety training programs for employees and contractors.
• Promote awareness of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Incident Management:
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Policy Implementation:
• Enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain safety documentation and records.
• Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to local, national, and industry-specific safety regulations.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and conduct periodic reviews.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Certification in safety standards (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and observation skills.
