Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team and drive the execution of performance testing for our applications using Apache JMeter and Datadog. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, executing, and analyzing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications under various load conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using Apache JMeter to simulate high loads on systems and applications.

- Integrate JMeter with continuous integration (CI) pipelines to automate the execution of performance tests.

- Set up and configure Datadog to monitor system performance, collect real-time metrics, and provide detailed performance insights.

- Analyze performance test results, identify performance bottlenecks, and work closely with development teams to suggest improvements.

- Utilize Datadog APM (Application Performance Management) for tracking and troubleshooting application performance issues.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and optimize performance monitoring solutions.

- Document and report performance test findings, including detailed performance metrics, recommendations, and risk assessments.

- Perform root cause analysis for performance-related incidents and provide corrective actions.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Proven experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter and integrating it with CI/CD pipelines.

- Proficient in configuring and using Datadog for application and infrastructure monitoring, including real-time metrics collection and APM.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing for web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.

- Strong knowledge of load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.

- Familiarity with monitoring systems, including experience with dashboards, alerts, and logs in Datadog.

- Experience with analyzing application performance metrics such as response time, throughput, error rate, and resource utilization.

- Solid understanding of performance bottlenecks and the ability to troubleshoot them effectively.

- Excellent communication skills for writing clear and concise test reports and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
