Senior Test Engineer - JMeter (5-7 yrs)

Job Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and develop performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner and Gatling.

- Experience in performance testing of web, mobile, or cloud-based applications.

- Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests to evaluate system performance.

- Monitor application behaviour under load using tools such as Grafana, New Relic, AppDynamics.

- Create and maintain performance test scripts and automation frameworks.

- Write, plan and execute manual test cases.

- Conduct benchmarking and capacity planning for critical applications.

- Document test results and provide recommendations for performance tuning.

- Ensure continuous performance testing in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

- Strong knowledge of HTTP/S, APIs, and protocols (REST).

- Experience with profiling and monitoring tools like Grafana or New Relic.

- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases for query performance tuning.

- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, or Shell).

- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their performance testing methodologies.

- Experience with containerization and microservices performance testing (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and performance degradation through detailed analysis of test results.

- Work closely with developers, architects, and DevOps teams to optimize application performance.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret test results and recommend improvements.
