Performance Tester - JMeter (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

We are looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Noida. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in performance testing and should be proficient in using the JMeter tool to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute performance test plans, test cases, and scripts using JMeter.

- Conduct performance testing for web and mobile applications to measure system behavior under varying load conditions.

- Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for performance optimization.

- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions.

- Generate detailed performance test reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

- Monitor system performance using various tools and techniques to ensure stability and scalability.

- Ensure adherence to best practices in performance testing and optimization.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and tools in performance testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Proficiency :

- Strong experience with Apache JMeter for performance testing.

- Knowledge of performance testing lifecycle, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

- Understanding of protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, and APIs.

- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Groovy, Java, or Python) is a plus.

Analysis Skills :

- Ability to analyze application performance data and identify root causes of performance issues.

- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar) is advantageous.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills to articulate findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins for integrating performance tests.

- Exposure to cloud-based performance testing tools (e.g., BlazeMeter) is a plus.

- Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable.
