Azure Database Administrator - SQL (3-9 yrs)

Job Title : Azure Database Administrator

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience : 3 - 9 years

Notice Period : 30 days

Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain Azure SQL databases.

- Perform database administration tasks, including automation, performance monitoring, system tuning, and SQL query optimization.

- Ensure data integrity and security of databases.

- Work with developers in the optimization of queries, data migration, and design.

- Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies.

- Monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime.

- Address database-related issues in a timely manner.

- Stay current with the latest Azure technologies, trends, and techniques.

- Proficiency in Azure SQL Database and relevant tools.

- Experience with database administration, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Strong understanding of database security and compliance.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).

- Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).

- Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
