Job Description
Job Description:Manage a portfolio (30-35 clients) of Global corporates and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers in Commercial and Industrial industry.Ensuring quality check of the deliverables for the team members.Managing projects independently with minimal guidance from the management.Preparing high quality risk analysis of large global counterparties by evaluating their creditworthiness on multiple parameters, including the assignment of internal customer risk rating grade and detailed analysis of business profile, industry, company management and financials, recommending appropriate limits (funded, non-funded, hedging and settlement), and negotiating / reviewing legal terms and conditions.Conduct on-going Portfolio Monitoring to facilitate decision making through Financial Modelling, Coverage Reports, Covenant Analysis, Forecast and Report writing.Analyse the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements of counterparties, including their operating trends, capital structure, liquidity, leverage, covenants, debt service capacity and overall credit risk for conclusion and recommendation.Evaluating / negotiating various loan / legal agreements such as Term Sheet, Credit Agreements to assess loan structure and accordingly propose credit terms and conditions.Working on assigning the Risk rating of PD and LGD to the Borrower and writing detailed risk rating rationale justifying the same.Monitoring and contributing towards industry and group level concentration riskAble to lead in corporate and lenders call.Providing mentorship and training to newer members of the team; providing cross functional knowledge and training to support teams.Profile RequiredShould have a minimum of 5 years of experience in underwriting of working capital loans, term loans for large corporates in Commercial and Industrial sector.Should have 2-3 years of experience in project management.Should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in stakeholders management.Proficient in collaborating with multiple stakeholders liaising with various teams including but not limited to Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Bank s credit processes and procedures. Strong financial analytical skills and understanding of accounting (local GAAP and IFRS), legal, and regulatory issues governing relevant sectors.Good understanding of various legal terms and ability to assess credit terms and conditions, including financial covenants, security, and collateral.Strong paper writing skills with respect to assessing and summarizing financial transactions (credit requests, covenant waivers, etc.) and making a recommendation.Ability to support Relationship Managers / Credit Officers on ad hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.Should be able to perform covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.Experienced in preparing financial models / forecasts for various scenarios.Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPointKnowledge of credit platforms like nCino, MRA, Credit Lens, LoanIQ, William Stucky.Audit management - Internal, External including regulatory inspections.Should have strong communication skills.
