Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Development Engineer to drive technical excellence and innovation within our software development team. This role combines hands-on software engineering with leadership responsibilities, requiring expertise in designing and delivering high-performance, scalable solutions while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, ensuring best practices in code quality and development.

- Oversee architectural decisions to align with business goals and technical standards.

- Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and resolve complex engineering challenges.

2. Software Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust, scalable software solutions.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices.

- Develop full-stack solutions, utilizing front-end frameworks like React and back-end technologies like Node.js.

3. Collaboration :

- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables.

- Actively participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery.

4. Problem Solving & Optimization :

- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and performance of the software.

- Continuously optimize applications for reliability, scalability, and performance.

5. Documentation & Process :

- Document technical designs, specifications, and processes for team alignment and future reference.

- Enforce coding standards, establish development processes, and promote team adherence to best practices.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Stay informed about emerging technologies and integrate relevant advancements into development practices.

- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and improvement within the team.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Experience :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- 6+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

- Proven expertise in front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Django).

- Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, MongoDB).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control systems like Git.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

- Experience in developing microservices and RESTful APIs.

- Understanding of test automation frameworks and tools.
