About the job Summary / Position Purpose :

The EDI Analyst will complete daily activities associated with EDI submission, transaction updating, error management and correction for various data-set transactions.

They will participate in Trading Partner set-up and testing to observe and interpret data received, working with internal teams and external partners to support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organization and drive order volume through EDI platforms.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities :

- Perform as liaison between EDI stakeholders and our EDI Trading Partners.

- Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for inbound and outbound EDI transactions for activity within DMEDI.

- Manage transactions including document review to ensure accurate set-up and compliance.

- Monitor production environments and proactively prioritize, communicate, and help to resolve any operational EDI/ERP process or system issues.

- Monitor daily file flow including troubleshooting errors with Trading Partners.

- Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth analysis to appropriate internal/external resources.

- Engage appropriate business and technical resources to drive remediation efforts.

- Research and communicate root cause analysis for file issues.

- Promote awareness and understanding of best practices, policies relative to business applications used to support EDI processes.

- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

- Taking start-to-finish ownership of onboarding Trading Partners to our EDI platform.

- Working with Trading Partners to integrate specific documents, partner setups, and processing requirements.

- Troubleshooting document processing errors and working with Trading Partners/3rd Party EDI Provider directly to resolve them in a timely matter.

- Supporting internal resources to resolve issues, answer questions, and retransmitting documents when necessary.

- Documenting business requirements for new integrations.

- Providing technical support to both internal and external clients.

- Conduct thorough testing of EDI transactions to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance with standards.

- Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes, mappings, and configuration, facilitating knowledge transfer and ensuring system understanding.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements :

- Master's/Bachelor's degree or any related field.

- Minimum 2 years of EDI experience.

- Minimum 1 year experience working with SPS Commerce.

- Knowledge of EDI sets (850, 855, 810, 856) and trading partnerships (ANSI X12) is preferred.

- Experience in business process related EDI documents related to Finance, Sales, Logistics and Operations.

- Exposure to ERP business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics GP.

- Exposure to WMS business applications.

- Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in resolving data integrity issues post go-live.

- Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team.

- Self-motivated and proactive.
