Required Skills and Experience

Education:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related quantitative discipline. Masters degree preferred.

Technical Expertise:

• Extensive experience designing and implementing healthcare data architectures, including working with structured and unstructured data sources.
• Strong understanding of public healthcare datasets, including CMS Medicare and Medicaid claims data, commercial claims, and electronic health records (EHRs).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, Hadoop).
• Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL pipeline development to facilitate seamless data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and governance best practices.
• Experience implementing data security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare regulations.
• Ability to optimize large-scale data processing and analytics workflows to improve performance and reliability.

Professional Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or a related field, preferably within healthcare or consulting.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data solutions to support analytics and business intelligence functions.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex data initiatives.
