Job Title: Quality Inspector

Department: Production

Location: Neemrana, Rajasthan

Experience: Minimum of 35 years of experience in Quality management, preferably in the

luggage or manufacturing industry.

Reports To: Quality Head

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Quality Inspector to join our team in the

luggage industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that

our products meet the highest standards of quality before they are shipped to customers

or retailers. You will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, safety, and

customer satisfaction by conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and

recommending corrective actions when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Inspection:

• Conduct thorough inspections of finished luggage products to ensure they

meet the company’s quality standards.

• Check for defects, damages, and ensure that all components (zippers,

handles, wheels, straps, stitching, etc.) are in perfect working order.

• Measure dimensions, weight, and appearance of the products to ensure

they conform to the specifications.

• Test product functionality, including durability tests and stress tests (e.g.,

checking wheels for smooth rotation or testing zippers).

• Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of all inspections, including defect types,

corrective actions taken, and compliance with company standards.

• Provide reports to the production or manufacturing team about quality

issues and potential improvements.

• Work closely with the production and design teams to resolve any recurring

quality problems and suggest preventive measures.

• Quality Control Procedures:

• Develop and maintain inspection protocols and procedures to ensure a

consistent approach to product quality.

• Ensure that products meet safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments to enforce quality standards and

conduct training for employees on quality-related issues.

• Defect Management:

• Identify and report any defects or issues found during inspections and work

with the production team to rectify them.

• Assist in identifying trends in product defects and work on preventive

measures to minimize issues in future batches.

• Ensure defective products are isolated, marked, and properly handled

according to the company’s policies.

• Continuous Improvement:

• Suggest process improvements to enhance product quality and operational

efficiency.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to

enhance overall product quality.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in

quality control.

• Collaboration:

• Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and vendors to ensure that

raw materials and components meet the necessary quality standards.

• Communicate effectively with management regarding any quality concerns

or product issues that need immediate attention.
