Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in SAP (FICO) or JD Edwards, along with strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for financial detail. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive financial updates, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for designated business segments.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Reporting: Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior management by evaluating and analyzing financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reports for assigned business segments. Conduct monthly forecasting for production with customer-wise profitability analysis. Monitor and maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Stock & Costing Management: Oversee stock valuation, including raw materials, work in process, and finished goods valuation. Lead monthly Process costing and department-wise cost analysis to ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Planning & Forecasting: Lead the quarterly planning and forecasting processes for emerging markets to ensure financial targets are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data for accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Internal Controls: Develop and enforce robust internal controls to protect company assets, ensure compliance with policies, and optimize financial procedures. Continuously evaluate and enhance workflows to ensure financial integrity.
• MIS Reporting & Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly MIS reports and provide detailed financial analysis to identify key trends, risks, and opportunities for the business.
• Accounting & Statutory Compliance: Oversee payables, receivables, and statutory compliance to ensure timely processing and adherence to regulations. Manage debtor and creditor reconciliations, ensuring that all accounts are accurate and up to date.
• Team Leadership: Provide dynamic leadership and support to the accounting team, fostering a culture of trust, productivity, and high performance. Guide and mentor team members to help them grow and achieve their professional goals.

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 to 8 years of post-qualification experience in a manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SAP (FICO) or JD Edwards is a must.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
