Position Overview:

As the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will play a crucial role in the overall strategy and operational management of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and the rest of the founding team to develop and execute business strategies, manage day-to-day operations, and drive the company's growth. In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will bring or secure investment to support our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement the company's strategic vision and business plan.

- Identify growth opportunities and operational improvements to drive the company's success.

Operational Management:

- Oversee daily operations, including production, supply chain, customer service, and quality assurance.

- Develop and implement operational policies, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and manage high-performing teams across various operational functions.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Provide mentorship and development opportunities for team members.

Financial Management:

- Manage the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Work with the CEO and CFO to secure and manage funding, ensuring financial stability and growth.

Investment and Fundraising:

- Bring in personal investment or leverage your network to secure additional funding for the company.

- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial partners.

- Participate in fundraising activities, including pitching to investors and negotiating terms.

Market Expansion and Partnerships:

- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.

- Collaborate with the business development team to expand the company's market presence and customer base.

Product Development and Innovation:

- Work closely with the CTO and product development team to ensure alignment between operational capabilities and product innovation.

- Support the development and launch of new products and services.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA along with Aerospace Engineering preferred.

- Proven experience (10+ years) in operational leadership roles, preferably within the aerospace, transportation, or technology sectors.

- Demonstrated ability to bring or secure investment for high-growth startups.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong financial acumen and experience in financial management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
