Job Description : We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and manage the retail sales operations across [North Region].
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales growth, developing and executing strategies, and leading a high-performing team in the retail sector.
- This role requires frequent travel to various locations to oversee operations and ensure consistent performance across multiple stores.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's objectives and targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine and adapt the sales strategy.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set for the region.
- Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of performance.
- Provide training and development opportunities for the team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and manage team performance to ensure success.
- Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company's market share within the region.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure optimal product availability and positioning in the market.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve any customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain positive relationships.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and analyze sales performance data and trends to provide actionable insights.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, including recommendations for improvements.
- Utilize CRM and other sales tools to track performance and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate regional sales budgets efficiently to ensure optimal spending and ROI.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial guidelines in managing regional operations.
- Travel & Operations Management: Comfortable with frequent travel across various locations within the region to oversee store operations and manage sales performance across multiple sites.
- Ensure smooth coordination and efficient operations in each store, with regular visits to monitor staff performance, product availability, and customer experience.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role in retail sales management.
Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e. , Salesforce).
- Deep understanding of the retail industry and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Comfortable with frequent travel to manage multiple store locations.
