Manager Content Marketing: Content Creation & Strategy Development: Develop Content Plans: Create comprehensive content strategies tailored to the pharmaceutical ecommerce market, ensuring alignment with the brand's objectives and target audience needs. Create Educational Content: Develop blogs, articles, infographics, videos, product descriptions, FAQs, case studies, and social media posts that inform users about pharmaceutical products, health conditions, treatments, and wellness topics. Product Pages: Write compelling, accurate, and SEO-optimized product descriptions that include benefits, features, ingredients, usage instructions, and safety information. Content Calendar: Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent posting across all channels (website, social media, email, etc.).
SEO & Digital Marketing: SEO Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search engines, using the right keywords to improve organic traffic to the e-commerce website. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices. Landing Pages: Create high-converting landing pages that drive user engagement, product purchases, and lead generation, while focusing on the pharmaceutical markets unique needs. PPC and Ads: Collaborate with paid advertising teams to ensure ad copy and landing page content are aligned with the brand and optimized for conversion.
Compliance and Regulation: Pharma Regulations: Ensure all content adheres to pharmaceutical industry regulations, such as FDA guidelines and other local regulatory requirements related to the marketing of pharmaceuticals. Claims & Disclaimers: Work with legal and regulatory teams to ensure that all medical claims are accurate, substantiated, and accompanied by necessary disclaimers and references.
Audience Engagement & Relationship Building: Healthcare Professionals (HCP) Engagement: Develop targeted content that engages healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses) by providing them with valuable insights, product updates, and relevant research. Patient & Consumer Focus: Create content that is approachable and understandable for patients and general consumers, including tips on health management, treatment options, and medication adherence.
Social Media Management: Platform Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) that align with the brands voice and mission, while complying with regulations. Community Engagement: Foster engagement with audiences, answer questions, and participate in relevant conversations around healthcare and pharmaceutical topics.
Email Marketing & Newsletters: Email Campaigns: Design and manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, product promotions, educational content, and health tips. Segment email lists to ensure the right content reaches the right audience. Personalization: Use data and analytics to personalize email content for different segments, increasing relevance and engagement.
Analytics & Reporting: Performance Tracking: Use analytics tools to track content performance, measure key metrics (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions), and optimize content based on data. Reporting: Provide regular reports on content performance and ROI to senior management, making data-driven recommendations for future content strategies.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, medical writers, designers, SEO specialists, and marketing teams to ensure content aligns with broader marketing goals and product launches. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate content plans and results to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Pharma Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulations, product lifecycle, and the nuances of marketing healthcare products online. Content Creation Expertise: Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills to produce clear, compelling, and engaging content. SEO Knowledge: Experience in SEO best practices, keyword research, and optimization techniques to boost search engine rankings. Digital Marketing Skills: Familiarity with email marketing, social media strategies, PPC, and performance analytics. Data-Driven: Ability to use analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc.) to track content performance and optimize accordingly. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics in an accessible manner.
Desired Qualifications: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare marketing, preferably in an e-commerce environment. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and tools like Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Clever Tap, Mailchimp, etc.
