Job Description
- Perform day-to-day activities (orders/price litigations/etc..) supporting the buyers in the team
- Execute sourcing activities to define project timelines and approved sourcing strategies.
- Issue RFQ s, negotiate an optimal cost level for areas of responsibility and carry out contract negotiations and management.
- Contribute to KPI target fulfillment.
- Interact as key contact with the stakeholders. Prepare and report Key Performance Indicators development to them.
- Identify and contribute synergies and share best practices within the Volvo Group including but not limited by participation in internal network meetings and external benchmarking.
- Contribute to the development of the segment strategy and purchasing process to support Volvo s strategic objectives mainly in IT segments.
- Get specific assignment in projects and coordinate in cross functional team to secure results.
- Bring together innovations on his/her segments.

- Bachelor s degree or above in Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- A first experience in purchasing, ideally in an industrial or automotive sector
- Communication skills and strong interest to develop good relationships with stakeholders and team
- Analytical mindset, problem solving and results oriented
- Passion, self-learning, positive attitude and owner s mentality
- Fluent in English (in speech and writing). Knowledge of Korean would be a plus!
