Commodity Buyer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for Iron and Steel, Copper, Aluminium to meet business requirements.
• Monitor global and regional commodity markets for Iron and Steel, Copper, Aluminium keeping track of pricing trends and supply chain dynamics.
• Manage supplier relationships to optimize purchase costs and ensure long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate and finalize contract agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
• Ensure procured materials meet quality standards as per company specifications and oversee timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct research on market trends, price fluctuations, and supply chain dynamics to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Possess technical knowledge of water treatment equipment products, raw materials, and spares.
• Utilize procurement software and ERP systems effectively for process optimization.
• Should have knowledge in MS & SS structures, Motors, Gear drives.
