SAP Consultant - Manufacturing

This role is part of the Digital Manufacturing team, which provides competence towards the digital solutions used to manage the supply chain and production of our cars. The role is part of the manufacturing value chain which supports business process like materials management, production planning and order execution. In this role you will get the opportunity to learn and upgrade your domain knowledge and provide an excellent platform to be part of the journey to reimagine the digital solution landscape supporting our plants.

Main responsibilities

• Analyze/document business requirements and As-Is processes
• Excellent understanding of SAP-standard solutions
• Assist in conducting gap analysis between business requirements and application capabilities
• Create functional requirements as an input to application design
• Perform application design activities aligned to business requirement in the EWM/MM module
• Assist with build, test, and deploy activities within your area of expertise
• Manage end to end system integration activities through project lifecycles
• Defines and drives project communicational tasks, keeps contact with project members, close communication and building relationship with client
• Implement new or maintain existing business solution in SAP module EWM/MM area based on user requirements analysis
• Propose, develop, or configure, document and test business solutions in SAP application module according to the functional and technical requirements
• Supporting the business with both runtime (support and maintenance) and onetime deliveries
• Working in Agile/SAFe environment and participate in SCRUM ceremonies

We think that you come from a role where you have had at least 8 years of exposure working in the industrial domain, and that you have complemented that with SAP EWM/MM-competence, since at least 5 years.

• You must have strong work experience primarily in SAP EWM along with SAP MM - optionally SD and/or TM modules
• You must have been involved in at least 3 support & implementation projects
• You must have hands-on experience in handling large size SAP Retail/Manufacturing and Sales implementations for Fortune 100 clients
• You must have work experience in Production Support and should be willing to work in Support Projects in Manufacturing Domain
• Good hands-on expertise in cross module integration with SAP Finance, Production Planning, Quality Management, Sales & Distribution preferably in Process Manufacturing Industry.
• Should have knowledge on differences in the integration approach for EWM 9.4, EWM 9.5, S/4HANA 2020 & Above
• S/4 Hana & Fiori exposure is an added advantage (MM & EWM).
• Basic Debugging Skill - (Advantage)
• Work on POCs to take appropriate design decisions.
• Ability to understand business processes from a business/end user perspective
• Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
• Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a Can-do attitude - adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
