Job Description
- 8+ years Location: Remote Essential Functions Primarily working with Juniper Switching and Routing; HPE Aruba and Extreme to a lesser degree Perform network assessments, audits and create network design documents
- Work closely with the network architecture team to ensure designs meet the business and technical requirements of clients Provide Tier 3 level support for escalated network issues
- Act as a subject matter expert for Juniper products and technologies Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, security, and other Juniper-related technologies
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures for Juniper network infrastructure Continuously monitor network performance and provide recommendations for optimization and improvement
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to Juniper network solutions Additional Specific Duties and Responsibilities Performs On-call rotation with team members Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Minimum of 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Juniper network solutions Expertise in Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and security technologies
- Extensive knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS
- Strong experience with Juniper Security technologies including SRX firewalls, IPSec VPNs, and SSL VPNs Experience with Juniper QFabric and EX Series switches In-depth understanding of network virtualization technologies such as VRF, VXLAN, and MPLS VPNs Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Juniper certifications such as JNCIP-ENT, JNCIP-SEC, JNCIP-SP, JNCIE-ENT, JNCIE-SEC, JNCIE-SP are a requirement Softskills Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Excel and emails Flexible to work night shift
