Job Description

Role & responsibilities

A Senior Sales Control Manager involves controlling & overseeing the entire sales process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies, by managing sales data, analyzing performance metrics, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to optimize sales efficiency and achieve revenue targets, while also leading a team of Associate wealth managers and collaborating with other departments to maintain smooth sales operations.

Vivekam is a wealth management firm with RIA (Registered Investment Advisory) business and soon a PMS (Portfolio Management). We help our investors reach their wealth creation/preservation goals through Equities, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income and other financial instruments.

The Senior Sales Control Manager will form an integral part of our vision and report directly to management while taking up responsibility of around 15-20 subordinates. We are strictly looking out for people aged 45+ or people who are retired and would like to get back to meaningful occupation in a thriving environment.


Job functions:

  • Sales Data Management:
  • Monitor and analyze sales data from various sources (CRM, POS, etc.) to identify trends, patterns, and potential discrepancies.
  • Ensure data accuracy by conducting regular data cleansing and quality checks.
  • Sales Performance Analysis:
  • Track sales performance against targets, identifying areas of strength and weakness across sales teams and individual reps.
  • Analyze sales pipeline metrics to forecast future sales and identify potential risks.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes of performance gaps and propose corrective actions.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales processes and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain sales forecasting models to support strategic planning.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of associate wealth managers, assigning tasks and providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the sales control team.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and address sales challenges.
  • Communicate key sales performance insights to stakeholders across different departments.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure the functionality and integrity of sales systems and tools.

Preferred candidate profile


  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, BI platforms)
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Understanding of sales principles and best practices
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
