Accountant and Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Accountant and Finance Manager to manage our financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide strategic financial guidance to support our business growth.

Key responsibilities

1. Financial Management:

Verify all financial documents, perform bank reconciliations, and assist in preparing final accounts.

Perform regular bank reconciliations for all bank accounts to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.

Assist in preparing final accounts, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.

2. Branch Accounting:

Maintain accounting records for three companies/branches, handling receipts, payments, journals, sales, purchases, debit notes, and credit notes.

Perform monthly inter-branch reconciliations to ensure accuracy and detect any discrepancies.

Maintain accounting records for holding and subsidiary companies.

3. Compliance and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain TDS records, generate TDS statements, and ensure timely online payments. Prepare GST data, reconcile bills with the GST portal, and file GSTR and GSTR-3B returns.

4. Audit and Taxation:

Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors, address auditors' queries, and prepare responses to audit reports. Prepare Tax Audit reports and compile documentation for income tax scrutiny submissions.

5. Financial Analysis and Planning:

Prepare and track daily cash flow, compile MIS reports, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

6. Accounting and Finance Operations:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensure proper verification before signing cheques, and manage traveling advances, salary payables, and salary advances.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Qualifications: CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

2. Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a similar industry.

3. Skills: Proficient in accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc.), Excel, and GST compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws (Income Tax, GST, etc.), and financial regulations.
