Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Accounts & Finance - Goregaon

Job Summary
The Assistant Manager - Finance/Accounts will manage key financial and accounting processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. The role involves fixed asset management, ledger scrutiny, preparation of MIS reports, and effective interaction with banks. This position is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably from companies with a turnover exceeding ₹100 crore.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fixed Asset Management:
• Manage the capitalization of fixed assets as per accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate records for asset acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
2. Finalization of Accounts:
• Ensure timely and accurate finalization of accounts, including ledger scrutiny and reconciliations.
• Analyze accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve them effectively.
3. MIS Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports to provide insights into organizational performance.
• Recommend corrective actions based on data analysis.
4. Stock Verification:
• Conduct physical stock verifications and reconcile them with system data.
• Investigate and resolve variances to maintain accurate inventory records.
5. Banking & Financial Operations:
• Manage banking relationships and ensure seamless handling of financial transactions.
• Support negotiations for banking facilities and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
6. Compliance & Audit Support:
• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and internal controls.
• Assist in audits and provide required documentation to auditors.

Qualifications and Skills

• Educational Background:
• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Experience in companies with a turnover of ₹100 crore or more is essential.
• Industry Preference:
• Manufacturing/Industrial sector experience is mandatory.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced knowledge of accounting standards, financial compliance, and reporting.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
