Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will plan, design, build, and test security solutions and create resilient security architecture for various IT projects. The role requires in-depth experience with BSS/OSS systems, enterprise products, and telecommunication or cable industry practices. You will be responsible for managing architecture deliverables, creating comprehensive architecture artifacts, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure alignment on the architecture approach and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture and Solution Design:
o Design and develop secure and scalable architecture solutions for IT projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
o Create and maintain end-to-end architecture artifacts including interface design documents, process design documents, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data models across the BSS/OSS ecosystem.
o Develop and maintain a solution architecture roadmap across all Epics and produce architecture blueprints for each release iteration.
o Conduct and represent Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions during the design and integration phases.
o Review business requirements and collaborate with development teams to identify system impacts and provide accurate estimates.
BSS/OSS Systems Expertise:
o Work across BSS/OSS systems from lead generation to order creation, fulfillment, activation, service assurance (fault/performance management), and billing.
o Utilize knowledge of enterprise products (B2B space) such as managed broadband, managed security, etc., to ensure system compatibility and efficiency.
o Demonstrate experience and knowledge of Amdocs COTS products across the BSS/OSS stack.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
o Manage architecture deliverables and ensure understanding of solutions across all Epics and Tracks.
o Collaborate and drive alignment with key business stakeholders, solution development, and testing teams on architecture approaches and directions.
o Coordinate with Project Managers (PMs), infrastructure/operations teams, testing teams, and release/change control teams as needed.
o Follow through on architecture issues and integration challenges that arise throughout the software development lifecycle and provide resolutions.

Required Skills:
Experience:
o Overall 9+ years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, and solution design.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience as an enterprise/solution architect, covering service-oriented architecture (SOA), web application architecture across multiple platforms and tools.
Technical Expertise:
o Defining software enterprise architecture and using enterprise application design patterns.
o BSS/OSS background with hands-on experience in system integration and lifecycle management for full-stack BSS and/or OSS implementations.
o Strong knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and middleware management, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
o Proficiency in software technologies such as .NET, J2EE, and Mobility.
o Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools like Visio, IBM Rational Software Architect, etc.
o Understanding of workflow and business process management tools and practices.
Systems and Integration:
o Demonstrated ability to create systems architecture and solution design based on brief product requirements.
o Designing new features to meet evolving business requirements.
o Deep understanding of the system integration lifecycle for a full-stack BSS and/or OSS implementation.
