JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Design, develop, and implement Oracle Commerce Cloud solutions to meet business requirements.

- Customize and extend Oracle Commerce Cloud functionality using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.

- Develop and maintain integrations with third- party systems, including payment gateways, ERP systems, and CRM systems.

- Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions.

- Stay up to date with Oracle Commerce Cloud updates, patches, and new features, and evaluate their impact on existing implementations.

- Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and other team members.

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and prioritization activities.

Skills Required :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4 years of experience working as a software developer, with 2- 3 years of experience specifically in Oracle Commerce Cloud development.

- Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript.

- Experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud (formerly known as (Oracle Commerce Platform), including customization and extension using OCC Web Services, OCC RESTAPIs,

- Experience with Oracle Commerce Cloud administration, including deployment, configuration, and performance tuning.

- Knowledge of e- commerce best practices and principles.

- Excellent problem- solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Responsibilities :

Platform Management :

- Oversee and maintain Oracle Commerce Cloud environments, ensuring smooth functionality and uptime.

- Configure and customize Oracle Commerce Cloud for specific business requirements.

Development and Customization :

- Develop new features, integrations, and workflows using Oracle Commerce Cloud tools, technologies, and APIs.

- Customize user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) to improve the customer journey and satisfaction.

Integration and Third- Party Services :

- Integrate Oracle Commerce Cloud with other enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, marketing platforms, and third- party services.

- Work with APIs, web services, and middleware for seamless integration across systems.

Performance Optimization :

- Analyze and enhance site performance, implementing strategies for optimization, including load balancing, caching, and content delivery network (CDN) configurations.

- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring high availability and fast page load times.

Collaboration with Stakeholders :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and IT teams, to align the eCommerce platform with business objectives.

- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.

Security and Compliance :

- Implement security measures such as data encryption, firewalls, and monitoring to protect the platform and customer data.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI- DSS for payment processing.

Content and Catalog Management :

- Manage product catalogs, pricing strategies, promotions, and content updates through Oracle Commerce Cloud's content management system.

- Optimize search functionality and ensure accurate indexing and categorization of products.

Testing and Deployment :

- Conduct unit testing, functional testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate changes before deployment.

- Manage code deployments and ensure adherence to release schedules and best practices.

Analytics and Reporting :

- Utilize Oracle Commerce Cloud's reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), customer behavior, and sales trends.

- Generate reports and provide actionable insights to improve site performance, user experience, and conversion rates.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation :

- Stay up- to- date with Oracle Commerce Cloud updates, new features, and best practices to recommend and implement platform enhancements.

- Lead initiatives for scaling the platform and improving user engagement through innovative solutions.
