Power BI architect

Minimum 10 to 14 years of experience working in BI with 5 years in PowerBI. 

3+ years Experience with Azure stack ( ADF, Synapse) required 

1+ year with Fabric strongly preferred

Strong SQL , DAX experience required.

Experience with Data modeling strongly preferred 

1+ year Experience with atleast one other BI tool in the past 3 years ( Tableau, Qlik , Microstrategy) 

2+ years experience as BI architect 

Strong communication skills ,

being the primary technical interface with the clients, responsible for technical deliverables for the team  for atleast 1 large project or 2-3 medium scale projects.

The Business Intelligence (BI) Architect is responsible for building, implementing, and supporting reporting solutions for our enterprise clients.

• Experience in Estimation and Proposal Activities

- Experience in all stages of BI project work (requirements and logical design, physical design, implementation, testing, and deployment). Should have a firm grasp of BI implementation methodologies and will have had in-depth experience with Microsoft Power BI stack.

- Translate business needs to technical specifications Analyse and provide solutions to bring performance improvements. Design, build and deploy BI solutions

- Architect, design and develop end to end business intelligence solution based on Microsoft Power BI platform.

- Work with clients to define user requirements for web systems, dashboards and reports. Analyze user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications

- Experince in Power BI Premium version

• -Evaluate and improve existing BI systems Collaborate with teams to integrate systems Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.

• -Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.

• -Develop and update technical documentation

• -Technical skills required Proven experience as a BI Architect and enterprise reporting etc.

• -Industry experience is preferred Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load)

• -Design, develop, optimize, maintain and support ETL processes using Stored Procedures and Microsoft SSIS

• -Define BI framework model, semantic layers and Metadata repositories to support reporting and administration

• -Develop and manage BI end user presentation layer training and documentation.
