Job Title: Business Development Manager (Minerals)

Location: [Pune/ Maharashtra]

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and approach various steel and cement plants to introduce our company and its product offerings.
•  Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate the market and achieve sales targets.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level procurement personnel at client organizations.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and report on achievements against targets; adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals.
•  Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand industry trends.
• Maintain a deep understanding of our mineral products and their applications in the steel and cement industries.

Qualifications

•  Minimum of 8- 15 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on selling minerals or related products to industrial clients, particularly steel and cement plants.
•  Familiarity with the steel and cement industries, including understanding procurement processes and key decision-makers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level executives.
• Demonstrated maturity in handling client relationships, with a professional demeanor that instills confidence in clients.

Performance Metrics

• Sales volume achieved against targets.
• Number of new client accounts established.
• Client retention rates and satisfaction levels.

Compensation

Salary will be offered as per industry standards, along with performance-based incentives.

Notes

Prior minerals sales experience is a must and job location would be Pune and we can also increase salary if the candidate is holding good experience on the same.
