Data Engineer - ETL/Hadoop (4-8 yrs)

Job Description :

- Experience required: 4+ years.

- 4 years of experience developing the strategy and building data and analytics solutions

- 4+ years of experience in data modeling principles, and Data Warehouse/ETL programs

- Hands-on 2+ years experience in Big Data AWS Cloud (AWS EMR / AWS Glue / MWAA / Redshift / Athena) Components.

- Hands-on 2+ years experience in Streaming Technologies like AWS Kinesis / Apache Kafka ecosystem.

- Experienced in modernizing legacy ETL programs/applications (for instance using Spark)

- Extensive experience with an enterprise data architecture for transactional systems, analytical platforms, master data management, data governance framework, data integration, and large-scale data migration

- Experience with relational and non-relational data platforms

- Experience in DevOps

- Financial service industry acumen and experience to lead large cross-functional initiatives in information architecture, reference models management, and data integrations

- Understanding of data governance, management, and data capabilities needed for a robust data program in support of business objectives.

- Experience in leading the establishment of data capabilities at an enterprise level.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an appreciation of the enterprise data vision.

- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.

- Impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, and global teams.

- Ability to influence senior Data Governance, Compliance, Operational Risk and Audit, and other key business stakeholders.

- Ability to effectively communicate, both upwards and downwards, across organizational levels.

- Flexible, and team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

- Experience of change management with program/project management or PMO experience in using a structured methodology to successfully track, plan, monitor, and report on concurrent, multiple projects.

- Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment, resolve problems, and offer impacting solutions.

- Experience with the Hadoop Ecosystem is a plus point.
