IBM Storage Administrator (5-8 yrs)

Primary Skills : Exp in Backup Exec, Veeam Backups

Secondary Skills : NAS, SAN, Nasuni, NAS storage, Synology backups and EqualLogic storage

Job Description :

- Provide support as well as resolution for level 2 and level 3 troubleshooting

- RAID creation Volume setup provisioning tasks such as thinthick provisioning enabling compression deduplication snapshot retention restore

- Managing IBM storage infrastructure.

- Experience on IBM Storage devices, IBM System Storage

- Depth experience in Synology, NAS, QNAPS, EQUALLOGIC, IBM SANNASUNI storage platforms

- Knowledge to work on DSM SYNC, Share drive, SAN Manager console, Active backup suite storage manager, Virtual Machine Manager, Synology Drive server, Filer services for Synology

- Volume creation provisioning to serverhost or ESXi servers knowledge to work in HyperV environment

- Should be able to do Performance related troubleshooting

- Root cause analysis of critical issues tickets

- Storage Fabric OS firmware Upgrade

- Should be able to do Troubleshoot of Software configuration Issues Shelf Disk cf ic etc

- Worked on ITSM tools like Service Now

- Experience in preparing the Technical Documents on relevant topics

- Installation configuration administration of Synology NAS device

- Creation maintain blob storage on Azure for DR backup administering the same

- Knowledge on VMware ESXI platform is must

- Troubleshooting storage hardware failures and finding solutions to optimize the existing storage infrastructure

- Configuring WWN iSCSI on storage servers and creating volumes and folders as required

- Scheduling maintaining snapshots clones on storage

- Configuring a backup policy for new backup clients and managing storage and backup policy changes through the change request process

- Managing and supporting storage systems including vulnerability remediation capacity management configuration management provisioning and zoning new servers using SAN switches

- Identifying researching and resolving technical problems

- Good to have knowledge about VMware HyperV clusters

- Requirements Expertise in Dell and IBM and Synology QNAPS EQUALLOGIC storage platformsVeeam Backup Replication server Synology NAS device and Azure blob storage administration

- Knowledge of VMware ESXI and Windows server platforms
