Role & responsibilities

Required a dynamic seasoned professional offering more than 15 years of experience in Paint Shop Operations, Production Operations, New Product Development, Quality Assurance, and Team Management.

• A strategic planner with expertise in managing production activities and streamlining processes/procedures to facilitate smooth production process & enhance productivity.
• Proficient in analyzing processes, identifying improvement areas, and implementing techniques for reducing rejection levels, rework, and consumption of resources.
• Expertise in paint shop processes especially in powder coating.
• Adept at improving productivity & reduce cost, new product development, new shade development, and line trials.
• Skilled in executing Thickness tests, Oil contamination tests, Cross tests, Boil tests, Bending tests, SST Tests, and Total& Free Alkalinity & Acidity Tests.
• A keen planner and strategist with skills in team building, organization building capability, and proven abilities in planning and managing resources
• Accountable for planning daily work related to painting shop production & daily monitoring of of-production targets as per customer requirements with specified quality and in stimulated time.
• Handling complete raw material and finished goods testing of paint and chemicals, material dispatch as per priority. Analysis of warranty rejection related to painted parts.
• Preparing corrective action plans, countermeasures, and action plans against customer complaints and nonconformance for the smooth flow of operations.
• Ensuring compliance with the production standards & continuous improvement in process capabilities during the process. Practicing quality standards & responsible for quality up gradation with emphasis on improving quality.
• Involved in preparing daily manpower report for paint shop requirements, MIS report & OLE report for plan Vs actual, preparing daily paint consumption record & any utility record preparing for MIS report.
• Responsible for per-treatment of the components and titration checks; improving shop productivity i.e., reducing man hours per activity by multi-skilling, multi machining & layout changes; handling process layout & flow diagram for component input to output.
• Enhancing internal customer satisfaction and reducing customer complaints.
• Liaising with the line supervisor for any concerned problem related to production, quality, manpower, and any machine & tool breakdown, implementing Kai-Zen, cost-saving projects & time to time PDIR.
• Maintaining graph i.e., production planning, actual planning, cost, manpower, quality, development, delivery, suggestions, safety, and any documentation; close monitoring of inventory stock of consumable items
• Setting direction, energizing, mentoring, coaching, motivating, guiding, and supporting teams.
• Developing, managing, and monitoring the performance of a multi-skilled large workforce and conceptualizing need based training programs for performing operations.
