Production Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee production activities on the shop floor to ensure efficient use of resources and meet quality standards.
  
• Manage manpower handling, including planning, scheduling, and training personnel for various tasks.
  
• Monitor plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and maintaining a clean working environment.
  
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., QC, maintenance) to resolve issues related to productivity and equipment performance.
  
• Analyze data from DCS systems to optimize production processes and improve overall efficiency.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing industry as a Production Supervisor or similar role.
  
• B.Sc degree in Chemistry or equivalent qualification; B.Tech/B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering preferred.
  
• Strong understanding of DCS operation, plant operations, production supervising, shop floor control, and manpower handling principles.
