Fermentation Operator

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and control fermentation processes to ensure optimal conditions for microorganisms to grow and convert sugars into ethanol.
  
• Conduct regular sampling of fermentation tanks, agitators, heat exchangers, and other equipment to check on dissolved oxygen levels, pH, temperature, and consistency of the fermented product.
  
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, checking valves, gaskets, and fittings to prevent contamination or foaming issues.
  
• Troubleshoot suboptimal fermentation rates by identifying root causes like enzyme deficiencies or yeast strain compatibility problems.
  
• Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues related to fermentation operations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

Any Graduate

• 5-7 years of experience in brewery/distillery industry with expertise in beverage production processes.
  
• Strong understanding of microorganism activity during fermentation process including sugar conversion rates.
  
• Proficiency in operating various types of equipment used in brewing/distilling industries (e.g., agitators, CIP systems).
  
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail for consistent fermentation performance.
