WAS Admin

In this role you will be Provide technical product oversight on WebSphere Technologies

For example, but not limited to, security vulnerability management, implementation standards, automation for installation, configuration and patch management, estate management, technical support, product roadmaps etc

Setup automation(s) to take out wasteConsolidate and reduce infrastructure complexityTesting and implementing upgrades and patchesPlanning and performing QA auditsConfiguring and testing production environmentsManage authorization groups, create, delete, add resource to an authorization group, or remove resource from an authorization group or listInstall and uninstall an application and stop and start the serversTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirementsNeeds to have working knowledge of the Web technologies like WAS, Liberty Profile, IIS/HIS, Portal, Apache Reverse Proxy etc

Any awareness on LDAP will be beneficialExperience with DevOps tools such as GITHub, Confluence, and JiraUnderstanding of Puppet/Ansible/HPSA products for end point management and application deployment across a large infrastructureWorking in a DevOps structureKnowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (ideally IBM Tivoli and CA Wily/Introscope) would be beneficialExperience in IBM MQ Administration and MQ Broker
