The property is attached to South India's largest premium shopping destination, VR Bengaluru, which houses international fashion brands as well as some of the best dining options the city has to offer.
The most notable being, The Whitefield Arms Microbrewery Pub and ALT the open air rooftop bar and lounge. While the pub provides a unique culinary experience by paying homage to Bangalore's colonial history through its distinctive menu and brews, ALT is an open-air lounge located at our terrace. Here you can sip on some of our signature cocktails while enjoying breathtaking views of the city.

Role: TECHNICIAN
Reporting To: CHIEF ENGINEER


Responsible for the entire operating and maintenance of the air-conditioning and electrical installations in the Hotel.
Role Summary:

• Responsible to maintain preventive maintenance on all equipments of the property.
• Responsible to fix any breakdowns of equipment and fixtures immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Check the air-handling units, exhaust fans, air-conditioning unit and cooling towers on a daily basis and record.
• Maintain the condenser water hardness and add water treatment chemicals as specified and record.
• Maintain the AC plant, chill water temperatures as specified.
• Check the walk in coolers and ice cube machines.
• Follow up the preventive maintenance charts.
• See that the guest room complaints are attended to in time.
• Maintain log books on a daily basis.
• Keep AC plant room and electrical installations clean.
• Store and handle tools properly as per inventory.
• Report any health or safety hazards to the General Manager.
• To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with the Hotel Policy with high standards of personal appearance, personal hygiene, correct uniforms and name badges as outlined in the staff handbook.
• To carry out any other duties as and when directed by the superiors.
