Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Should have experience working of +3 years in pigment / Dyes / Ink / Paint / Plastic & textile mandatorily.
  • Customers complaint Follow up with factory for reply & CAPA. Keep record.
  • Extensive travel required to meet overseas & pan India clients, bring new business.
  • Competitor samples - Follow up with factory for matching sample with report.
  • Forward the report to customer in presentable format . Follow up to get feedback form customer.
  • Create and implement sales and marketing strategies to enhance business growth.
  • Develop, Monitor and control distribution network.
  • Monitor the activities of sales teams to achieve sales objectives.
  • Capture new markets through effective sales drive.
  • Retain existing market share through quality services and relationships.
  • Forecast sales target.
  • Build customer relationships through effective contacts.
  • Develop customer retention strategies.
  • Upgrade TDS & MSDS of each product. Support marketing / customer with TDS & MSDS as per requirement.
  • Keep record of ecological data of each Product . Fill Customers questionnaire's & Provide required declaration to customer.
  • ISO related activities
  • Samples to Domestic customers . Get right samples form factory & forward it to customer with CC to concern marketing person.
  • Record of SOPs/ Test methods . Upgrade as per customers requirement.
  • Visit to Factory to perform test as per requirement of customers.
  • Visit customer for sales promotion.
  • Prepare presentable folders / report for customer.
  • Prepare new shade cards as per requirement.
  • Follow-up for Eco passport / Gots or other outside lab for getting our product test .
  • Keep record of each customer to give customer satisfaction .
  • Training to Marketing team for VOL Products.
  • Follow-up/ interact with marketing , QC for day to day work / pending work etc.
  • Input to R & D for development & new Products.
  • Resolve customer issues and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Guide and direct on product development processes.
  • Candidate must be aware of the basics of the technicalities associated with the Pigment sales.
  • Candidate must have experience of team handling, channel partners coordination, sales and distribution for India and Overseas.
  • Make Annual Business/Sales Plan and continuously monitor the achievement for all sales personal .
  • Establish both domestic and international market / customer strategies .
  • Monitor all on field sales functions of the Company by taking reporting from the sales team.
  • This position is specifically responsible for handling Key Accounts and overseeing the sales activity done by the on the field sales team.
  • Keep up to date with recent market and industry trends, competitors and leading customers and align the development team for new innovation/ product upgradation.
  • Preparing business plan (sales forecasts) and getting it approved from management. This will include trend analysis, market scan, product market matrix and so on.
  • Formulate strategy for achieving the business plan with respect to sales promotion measures, manpower hiring, expenses budgeting, training, dealer/distributor's appointments, etc.
  • Identifying news markets for existing and new products for the company.
  • Review MIS submitted by his subordinates and update escalations to management on timely basis.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of all sales promotion initiatives carried out, planning and executing trade shows in India and overseas .

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong interpersonal exposure is must with minimum experience of 6+ plus years in R&D, Product Development , Production & Sales & Marketing .
  • Any Graduate, BSc, MSc, BE / B. Tech, BMS, MBA / Diploma in Sales or Marketing.
  • Sales background is a must, excellent oral communication skill.
  • Should be Excellent in Communication with fluency in English (Oral & Written).
  • Should be Aggressive.
  • Should have excellent presentation skills, Interpersonal skill and negotiation skill.
  • Should be able to build rapport with client, source project.
  • Should be Team Player & Focused.
