Head of Engineering - Telecom Domain (12-16 yrs)

Job Description :

- Expertise in both stacks - Java + MERN (Included backend Node and Frontend React) (It is ok if one of them is their core stack in which they have SME level experience, and the other stack they have intermediate level knowledge)

- AWS, Cloud, CI/CD, AI/ML, GenAI, Performance and Security

- P&L Management (ideally should have had P&L tied to their KPIs in current role)

- Drive the technical vision and roadmap, ensuring the development of scalable, reliable, and innovative solutions for both cloud-based (AWS) and on-premise deployments.

- Oversee and guide teams working with Java- and Node.js-based backends, and React-based frontend technologies.

- Ensure the integration of cutting-edge AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities to enhance product value.

- Promote best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and cloud-native architecture for high availability and scalability.

- Create and implement best practice engineering vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance

- Ensure that engineering strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market

- Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities

- Contribute to overall business strategy and annual budget process

- Take ownership of the engineering policy, guidelines and any associated documents

- Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering processes
