Associate Director - Software Engineering (10-15 yrs)

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director of Software Engineering.

- In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers and overseeing the development and maintenance of our Java backend applications.

- Mandatory experience with OpenShift is required.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in their professional development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and ensure successful delivery.

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java backend applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and industry standards.

- Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications on the OpenShift platform.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability.

- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and evaluate their potential impact on our software development practices.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identify bottlenecks and areas for optimization, and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and efficiency.
