Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role in Gurugram for a QA Manual Tester with 3+ years of experience at Vikgol. The QA Manual Tester will be responsible for test execution, analyzing test results, ensuring quality assurance, conducting manual testing, and creating test cases.

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Manual Tester with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Gurugram. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous test execution, thorough analysis of test results, and the creation of comprehensive test cases. This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities :

- Test Execution : Execute test cases, both pre-defined and ad-hoc, to identify defects and verify functionality.

- Test Analysis : Analyze test results to identify patterns, trends, and potential areas of risk.

- Quality Assurance : Contribute to the overall quality assurance process by identifying and reporting defects, and working with developers to ensure timely resolution.

- Manual Testing : Perform various types of manual testing, including functional testing, usability testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing.

- Test Case Creation : Develop and maintain detailed and well-structured test cases, covering all aspects of the software application.

- Defect Tracking : Log and track defects using a defect tracking system, providing clear and concise descriptions of the issues.

- Collaboration : Work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

- Documentation : Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

- Process Improvement : Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies.

Qualifications :

- 3+ years of relevant experience in software testing.

- Strong test execution and analytical skills.

- Demonstrated quality assurance and manual testing skills.

- Proven experience in creating comprehensive test cases.

- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with test automation tools.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies. ISTQB certification.
